David Spehar

David has over 30 years of experience in the AEC industry and has been a registered architect since 1994. He was an early adopter of BIM and has been an advocate of leveraging emerging technologies since 2003. David joined dRofus in 2017 as a Client Solutions Manager and is currently the Regional Sales Manager for the Americas responsible for assisting clients with successful adoption of dRofus through transitioning to data-driven design workflows. In addition to his experience with applying design technologies, David has a strong background in architectural project management. He was a project manager for over 12 years before shifting his focus to implementing technology in large design firms. David is a well-known subject matter expert on design technology and has regularly presented at various international industry events throughout his career.

Transforming pen strokes on paper to buildings has always been Joel’s passion. After completing his Bachelor of Architecture degree, he worked for several years in multiple sectors on projects ranging from student centers to the development of new campuses. With 20-years of industry experience, Joel advocates for using design technology to foster creativity and innovation and improve the design, delivery, and handover of facilities to clients. He has previously presented at ENR Buildtech, BiLT (Asia, Europe, ANZ, Americas), as well as authored articles that have been published in several US and UK magazines, including the RIBA Journal online.
