David Spehar

David has over 30 years of experience in the AEC industry and has been a registered architect since 1994. He was an early adopter of BIM and has been an advocate of leveraging emerging technologies since 2003. David joined dRofus in 2017 as a Client Solutions Manager and is currently the Regional Sales Manager for the Americas responsible for assisting clients with successful adoption of dRofus through transitioning to data-driven design workflows. In addition to his experience with applying design technologies, David has a strong background in architectural project management. He was a project manager for over 12 years before shifting his focus to implementing technology in large design firms.

David is a well-known subject matter expert on design technology and has regularly presented at various international industry events throughout his career.

Matt Bode
Executive Director of Planning, Design, & Construction

With nearly twenty-five years of experience in healthcare architecture, Matthew Bode has dedicated his career to improving the environments in which care is effectively received and efficiently provided. As a healthcare planner and former firm principal, he has been privileged to be instrumental in projects spanning all aspects of healthcare facilities, including the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Special Forces Medical Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a 5-million square foot facility. Matthew’s engagement with clients, such as Cleveland Clinic and UPMC, created a high degree of understanding of advanced medical care and enabled him to be a trusted advisor on numerous projects, assisting the executive teams to make immediate and long-term, value-based decisions regarding their facilities and clinical operations.

Since 2019, Matthew has served as the internal architect and planner for Baptist Health System in Jacksonville, Florida. As Executive Director of Planning, Design, & Construction, he has engaged with executives on strategic initiatives, guided building designs, developed standards, expanded the team structure, and modernized Baptist Health’s ability to create, track, review, and document all aspects of the facility utilization process.

Matthew obtained his architectural degree from The Ohio State University and is a licensed architect in the State of Florida.
